10 Best small business web design companies in 2026

TABLE OF CONTENTS

TL;DR
- ✅ Best overall for ongoing design: ManyPixels, $699/mo for website pages plus the ads, social posts and graphics around them
- 💰 Best design and build in one subscription: Design Shifu Scale at $1,099/mo, or Renlar at $1,395/mo with WordPress included
- 🎨 Best one-off project under $10,000: Studio Fox Design or eSEO Space, both with $1,000 Clutch minimums
- ⚠️ Watch the scope gates: Delesign, Duck Design and DotYeti all charge more for web design than for graphics
- ❌ Skip agencies with $25,000 minimums: they are built for a different customer, and this list leaves them out
The opinion this list is built on: for a small business, the build is the cheap part. The pages, banners and refreshes you need in the 12 months after launch cost more, and project agencies rarely price for them. For agencies at $25,000 and up, see our full list of web design companies.
Under $500 a month, you do most of the work. Squarespace plans run $25 to $139 a month, and Bluehost puts a builder site at $50 to $500 a year all in. Upwork lists web designers at $15 to $30 an hour. No company on this list sells web design under $500 a month.
$500 to $1,500 a month is the subscription band: request as much as you want, and the team works through it one or two items at a time. Our guide to design subscription services explains the model.
Project-based builds are scoped and quoted per site. Bluehost puts a basic agency site at $5,000 to $15,000, and small studios take projects from about $1,000 on Clutch, though a full custom site rarely lands that low. See our breakdown of website design cost.
Monthly billing unless stated. Euros converted at the 15 October 2026 rate of 1.1209. Prices in this market change often, so check before you buy.
When we re-checked this list in October 2026, four of the 2025 entries had left small business range. Parachute Design Group now starts microsites at CA$25,000, Digitech lists a $25,000 Clutch minimum, Tiny Frog Technologies lists $10,000, and Desh Team has moved to web3 and app work. We replaced all four.
1. ManyPixels: the site plus everything around it, for one monthly fee
{{WEBSITES_PORTFOLIO="/dev/components"}}
Starting price: $699/mo (Advanced), $1,399/mo for a named designer
Model: Unlimited design subscription
Turnaround: Updates every business day, first drafts in 24 to 48 hours
ManyPixels is a design subscription, not a build shop. For $699 a month on Advanced, you can request website pages, landing pages, logos, social posts, ads and illustrations, and the team works through them every business day. Web design is included from the entry plan, which isn't true of most services here. We compare the prices and scope in our 2026 design subscription pricing index.
Example scope: one daily output is roughly a first-draft landing page, so a five-page site takes shape over one to two weeks of drafts. After launch, the same plan moves on to the launch banner, the ads and the next seasonal page.
The limit: ManyPixels delivers developer-ready Figma files and doesn't build in WordPress or Webflow, so you need a developer or a builder you can edit. The Assigned Designer plan at $1,399 adds one named designer on Slack. You can pause for $10 a month and keep your files.
✅ Best for: small businesses that need the website and a steady flow of marketing design after it
❌ Not ideal for: a first website with no developer and no builder skills on the team
2. Design Shifu: the cheapest subscription that also builds the site

Starting price: $749/mo for web design (Growth), $1,099/mo with development (Scale)
Model: Unlimited design subscription, one project a day per seat
Turnaround: 24 hours per project, six days a week
Design Shifu sells three plans, and scope is the whole story. Starter at $549 covers graphics only. Growth at $749 adds website and UI/UX design. Scale at $1,099 adds Webflow and Framer development plus motion, which undercuts every other design and build plan here. A 14-day money-back guarantee applies.
Example scope: on Scale, a five-page Webflow site can be designed and launched by the same team, with no separate developer to hire.
The catch is throughput: one project a day, and a second costs close to the plan price again. Ask how a multi-page build counts against that before you subscribe.
✅ Best for: a Webflow or Framer site designed and built by one team on a monthly plan
❌ Not ideal for: WordPress sites, or anyone who assumes the $549 Starter plan includes web
3. Delesign: one dedicated designer, with build work sold separately

Starting price: $1,199/mo for web design (Agency Booster), $649/mo for development (Web Developer)
Model: Dedicated designer, 2 hours of design time each business day
Turnaround: First drafts in 1 business day
Delesign assigns one designer, the same person every day, for two hours each business day, roughly 42 hours a month. Website design starts on Agency Booster at $1,199 a month, which adds an art director and video.
Example scope: the separate Web Developer plan at $649 a month covers WordPress, Webflow and Shopify, so a designed and built site costs $1,848 a month across both. A 15-day money-back guarantee applies.
Worth knowing: Delesign raised its design plans after September 2026 (Agency Booster was $849), so older reviews are out of date.
✅ Best for: owners who want the same designer on every request
❌ Not ideal for: sites with a hard launch date, since 2 hours a day sets the pace
4. Renlar: design and WordPress development on one plan

Starting price: $1,395/mo (Websites & Development)
Model: Unlimited design and development subscription
Turnaround: 3 to 5 days per request
Renlar, formerly Reel Unlimited, is one of the few subscriptions that builds WordPress sites as well as designing them. The $1,395 Websites & Development plan covers web and landing page design plus development in Webflow, Framer or WordPress. A 7-day money-back guarantee applies.
Example scope: a small business already on WordPress can send a new service page and have it designed and published on the live site, not handed over as a file.
The trade-off is one active request at a time, 3 to 5 days each. Roundups quoting Reel Unlimited's old $795 price are out of date.
✅ Best for: WordPress sites that need ongoing changes, not just new designs
❌ Not ideal for: businesses that also need a heavy flow of graphics, which sits on a separate $895 plan
5. Duck Design: a dedicated team for brand and website together

Starting price: $1,899/mo for web design, $1,999/mo with no-code development
Model: Dedicated design team subscription
Turnaround: Not published
Duck Design is a London agency, founded in 2017, that sells its team by subscription. The $1,199 Graphic Design plan excludes web pages, so a website starts on the $1,899 Graphic & Brand Design + UX/UI + Motion plan. The $1,999 plan adds no-code builds in Webflow, WordPress, Wix, Framer and Shopify.
Project example: web design and branding for a financial advisory firm, ongoing since September 2025. Duck Design holds 4.9 across 60 Clutch reviews.
The fine print: pausing is limited to 7 days in your third month, and there's a 7-day money-back guarantee.
✅ Best for: a rebrand and a new site handled by one team
❌ Not ideal for: budgets under $1,900 a month
6. DotYeti: web design, video and copy from one creative team

Starting price: $2,595/mo (Summit)
Model: Creative team subscription, two active projects
Turnaround: Priority, most first drafts in 1 to 5 business days
DotYeti puts web design on its Summit plan at $2,595 a month, alongside motion, video editing, copywriting and 3D. The $995 and $1,595 plans exclude web design.
Example scope: DotYeti's FAQ counts a multi-page website as one active project, and Summit runs two at once, so the site and a launch video can move together. Flex Month lets you skip one billing cycle a year.
At $2,595 it's near the top of a small business budget, and no development is listed.
✅ Best for: a business launching a site with video and copy at the same time
❌ Not ideal for: anyone who only needs website pages
7. Studio Fox Design: small US agency for local service businesses

Starting price: Quote only, $1,000+ minimum on Clutch, $100 to $149 an hour
Model: Project-based agency
Turnaround: Quoted per project
Studio Fox Design is a Dallas agency of two to nine people, founded in 2017. It builds WordPress and Shopify sites and sells hosting and maintenance afterwards, with clients in beauty, hospitality, food and energy.
Project example: a website design and build for a luxury hair salon, under $10,000, October 2022 to January 2023, which the client's review says shipped ahead of schedule. Studio Fox holds 5.0 across 18 Clutch reviews.
Recent projects run $10,000 to $49,999, so ask for a fixed quote.
✅ Best for: a US service business that wants one agency for build, hosting and upkeep
❌ Not ideal for: anyone who needs a price before the first call
8. eSEO Space: web design built around search traffic

Starting price: Quote only, $1,000+ minimum on Clutch, $50 to $99 an hour
Model: Project-based agency
Turnaround: Quoted per project
eSEO Space is a California agency, founded in 2018, that sells design, development and SEO together on WordPress and Shopify. Pricing comes through an instant quote form that asks about page count and monthly leads.
Project example: a website redesign for a custom glass fabrication company, $10,000 to $49,999, August to September 2025. eSEO Space holds 5.0 across 69 Clutch reviews, the most of any agency here.
Its hourly rate is the lowest of the US agencies, but most reviewed projects land above $10,000.
✅ Best for: small businesses that need the new site to rank, not just look good
❌ Not ideal for: owners who already have SEO handled elsewhere
9. Studio Ubique: a European studio that publishes its prices

Starting price: About $5,600 (€5,000) for a simple WordPress site
Model: Project-based agency, about $67 to $73 an hour (€60 to €65)
Turnaround: Quoted per project
Studio Ubique is a Dutch studio, founded in 2012, with design in Zwolle and engineering in Chandigarh, India. That split keeps rates low, and unusually, it publishes them: a simple WordPress site runs €5,000 to €15,000 (about $5,600 to $16,800).
Project example: a website redesign for a beer brewery, ongoing since May 2024. It holds 4.9 across 14 Clutch reviews.
Support plans have a three-month minimum.
✅ Best for: European small businesses that want a quoted custom build
❌ Not ideal for: US businesses that need same-day calls
10. The Weather: award-level design for a small site

Starting price: Quote only, $10,000+ minimum on Clutch, $50 to $99 an hour
Model: Project-based agency
Turnaround: 8 to 10 weeks on average
The Weather is a Berlin and Prague agency, founded in 2019, that builds in WordPress, Webflow, Framer and Shopify. It has 16 sites recognised on Awwwards and holds 5.0 across 50 Clutch reviews.
Project example: a website revamp for a real estate franchise, $10,000 to $49,999, October 2023 to March 2024.
The €3,500 five-page package in older roundups is gone. Its contact form still offers a "less than €5,000" budget (about $5,600), but the Clutch minimum is $10,000, the top of this list.
✅ Best for: a small brand where design quality is the main selling point
❌ Not ideal for: budgets under $5,000, or launches needed in under two months
How to choose the right small business web design company
If you have no website and no developer, pick a company that builds. Design Shifu Scale at $1,099 a month or Renlar at $1,395 a month do it on a subscription. Studio Fox Design and eSEO Space do it as a one-off project.
If you have a site and need it kept fresh, pick a subscription. 👉 ManyPixels at $699 a month covers new pages and the marketing design around them, and your developer or builder handles the changes.
If you're on WordPress and want changes made for you, look at Renlar, or Delesign's Web Developer plan at $649 a month next to a design plan.
If your budget is a single payment, go project-based, and set money aside for the year after launch.
Why small businesses choose ManyPixels for web design
- 🚀 Web design from the $699 entry plan, with no higher tier needed for website pages
- 💡 The same subscription covers ads, social posts, logos and illustrations, so the site and the marketing match
- ⚡ Work arrives every business day, with first drafts in 24 to 48 hours
- ✅ Pause for $10 a month in quiet months and keep every file, with full ownership of everything delivered
