AI design is here to stay. However, as useful as this technology is, it’s not that easy to get a professional logo with AI. We’re here to help you with the best logo prompts AI can use to create your logo.

Before we start…

While it’s certainly tempting to get a logo for free, this is not always the best idea.

Even with the best AI logo prompts, online generators simply cannot give you the same level of personalization as a human designer. More often than not, even if AI logo design can look good, it won’t be as recognizable and as fitting to your brand.

Scroll over to the end to discover how you can get a professionally designed logo, at an unbeatable price.

We’ve also tested these out as Midjourney prompts, as well as other alternatives to give you a taste of what these generators can do.

Mascot logos

Mascot logos are usually the most complex logo type, and one that usually requires the work of a professional logo designer.

Still, you want a few ideas, here are some AI logo design prompts to help you out.

Tech company mascot

Design a futuristic robot mascot with sleek lines, vibrant metallic colors, and glowing accents to represent innovation and cutting-edge technology.

As you can see, this could make a decent logo for digital use, such as websites as landing pages. However, it could be pretty hard to get right on printed materials, such as business cards, and trade show banners.

Nature-inspired mascot

Create a cute, nature-inspired animal mascot logo, such as a panda or a fox. Include very few simple elements, like leaves or flowers to create a circle around the animal. Keep it simple.

This is a pretty decent and cute logo concept, that could work well with healthy food brands, or kids apparel. Once you have a concept you like, it’s pretty easy to change the animal to something that fits your brand.

Educational platform mascot

Design a vector logo of an owl with glasses, holding a pencil. Use primary colors and a modern, minimalist style

As you can see even though the logo design prompt helped the AI lgoo generator to create the desired image, there are still some issues. The pencil seems to have two tips, adnt he finishing touches such as the lines and gradients could be a bit cleaner.

Food delivery service mascot

Design a fast animal mascot logo, like a cheetah or a falcon, carrying a delivery bag or food tray. Use bright, energetic colors, like red, yellow or orange. Add just a few simple elements like lines to show speed and efficiency.

This AI logo prompt worked great, as it included all the elements requested. However, as you can tell the delivery box and food tray could use a bit of work to look more realistic. The color palette is pretty good.

Coffee shop mascot

Create a cozy mascot logo of a smiling cup of coffee with steam rising from it. Add playful details like eyes, arms, and a scarf. Keep detailing minimal and create a vector logo.

As you can see, this AI logo prompt created a cute logo, that’s simple enough for a wide range of uses - a coffee shop website, as well as packaging and signage. The balance is a bit off with the scarf covering one of the legs, but it’s a decent concept nonetheless.

Minimalist logos

AI prompts for logo design work best with minimalist style logos. If you opt for this style, just make sure to specify exactly which design elements you want to incorporate.

Geometric shape logo

Create a logo using a single geometric shape or a combination of two simple forms, like circles or triangles. Use bold lines and a monochromatic color palette to keep the design clean and modern.

As you can see, although the logo prompt worked well, the overall design isn’t quite right - the symbol looks a bit like a star, but it’s not very memorable.

Line art animal logo

Design a minimalist logo of a bird, using only thin, continuous line art. Keep the details to a minimum, focusing on creating a recognizable representation.

The best AI logo prompts are simple and straightforward, and this one proves it. Although some details (e.g. feet) could be improved, it’s a cool logo that would fit a number of different industries.

Minimal icon logo

Create a minimal icon-based logo that represents the brand’s industry (e.g. a pencil). Use simple shapes with minimal details to form the icon.

Once again, simplicity works best. Although it’s essentially a simple icon, this logo has an interesting twist. It’s versatile and could work just as well in any color.

Negative space logo

Create a logo that uses negative space cleverly, such as embedding a symbol or image within the letters D.

Don’t forget - even with the best logo prompts AI can’t substitute human creativity. Although this logo looks interesting at first glance, you’ll obviously need to think what image you’d like to create within the negative space.

Circular frame logo

Create a logo for a brand called Company where the main element (a house) is framed within a simple circle. The design should be minimalist, with subtle details or accents.

Here’s another pretty successful attempt at an AI logo. Sure, it’s not the most unique design ever, but if you want something plain and simple, an instructive logo design prompt like this will work wonders.

Wordmark logos

The right font choice is the foundation for this type of logo. Nevertheless, if you also want to get some ideas on design and layout, here are some prompts to generate your typographic logo.

Monogram logo

Design a monogram logo using the letter D.  Use a script font and add just a few simple embellishments, like leaves, flowers and shapes.

Although this logo AI prompt worked pretty well, some of the finishing touches on this emblem logo are a little rough.

Initials logo

Design a minimalist logo using the initials DP. The initials should be creatively arranged or stylized using simple typography and negative space.

This is a pretty creative take on the logo prompt, although I’m not sure how clear it is what the letters are. Removing some of the details (shapes on the right side) would also be good.

Wordmark logo

Design a logo usingthe word Company in a modern sans-serif font. Letters should be equally set apart, with generous kerning. Incorporate elements, like a line, shape, or frame to make it more appealing.

If you’re designing a wordmark, the best AI logo prompts are the simplest. The reason for this is that AI image generators often doesn’t recognize letters and words, and make mistakes.

Final word: you don’t have to settle with AI logos

We hope these AI logo prompts give you a better idea of how AI logo generators work and how to best use them.

As you can see, although they’re certainly a great place to get ideas and start, no AI-generated logo is ever perfect. Yu’ll always need to tweak the finer details and ensure your logo fits your brand vision.
